What Are We Doing to Arts Education?

"Art" and "culture". These are two terms that are thrown around in today's society, but what they really mean? Do what were once deep and highly outdated concepts developed recently in direction, or worse, moved a mere tool for other efforts?

In previous splendid cultures like the Egyptians, Greeks and Italian Renaissance art as critical as society still define the history of the brand. But today, many of our childrenEducation of the Arts has turned only a supporting structure for other subjects, namely mathematics, history, science, and English. Repeated standardized testing and scoring of our children, must determine their suitability for a particular item proved that the integration of the arts will help to test results and, ultimately, to improve knowledge retention. However, this means that art should be heavily used as a method to strengthen their own understanding of math? Certainly visual elements issupport most of thinkers to design things such as geography, world history, or biology, as we know from the predominant use of maps and images into text pounds, but the full potential of the purpose and nature requires a deeper and more innate sense of the term to understand and its many forms.

More to the point that art does not read to a child to improve level to prove to their intrinsic value in our society.

A Foundation for Art Education serves a critical need for young women andMen with the development of understanding of sculpture, music, painting, drama and dance. People who have tried to projects in these areas can then enjoy them more fully, knowing the degree of difficulty to develop mastery of the craft. Young people can gain self-esteem, motor skills and an expressive voice, and build the career improving characteristics such as patience, creative problem solving and good workmanship. The arts are also for community education and services used, challenging socialStandards and providing methods for reflection and community growth. To not afford these tools would significantly restrict student a company's growth potential.

In summary, the art can not be regarded as a springboard for the production of higher-level reading, but bear their own value and merit solely on the innate human desire for beauty, is based and creativity.
