Rocket Sign Language.

bit.ly Rocket Sign Language was developed by a company who consistently does an excellent job when it comes to creating excellent online language programs. They have created similar online language programs for French, Spanish, Japanese, and German to name a few. They are the very best when it comes to online programs for learning a foreign language. However, that being said, learning sign language somewhat different so I needed to see for myself if they could do it justice. Well, they did! It would be very easy to end the review right here, and tell you to "Just buy this course - you definitely won't regret it!". However, I would rather tell you a bit more about what all you get with this huge, comprehensive course. To start with, you get a mega software game to teach you spelling, which covers finger signing at your own speed. This is put together very well. This software covers many specialized words for which there is no sign. Also, there is a huge sign word building game which shows you how to put those complicated signs together. This game makes it really fun to learn, and when it is fun the learn goes much faster. There is also a software dictionary which allows you to easily reference over 1200 of the most frequently used signs. You will not find any other program which is as thorough as this one. Rocket Sign Language also includes an excellent learning guide which covers grammar, spelling, punctuation, and everything else which is necessary in order to put all ...

Study Quran Arabic

The Quran was first revealed in Arabic. It still remains in its original form and believers say that God has made his concern to preserve the Quran in its original form. The word 'Islam' comes from Arabic word 'salama' meaning peace, purity, submission and obedience. Islam in a religious point of view means submitting yourselves to the will of God.

The beauty and essence of Holy Quran is enhanced by the fact that it is written in a language that is as graceful as Arabic. Arabic is a great dialect and has a unique calligraphy and that makes the Arabic Quran more and more intriguing to read. The Quran in any other language may at times miss the essence of what the writer wants to say. This is the main reason why many people still believe in reciting the Quran in Arabic although there are many translations for the book that are available. Not only people following the Quran do so but also people who do their research and study work on religion prefer studying the Quran in its most pristine form. There is a certain kind of rhythm that is associated with Quran and it only comes while reading it in Arabic and no other language.

All pronunciations, intonations and caesuras that were used by Prophet Muhammad must be used in a very effective way while reciting the Holy Quran in Arabic. The feel that you get while reciting the Quran in Arabic is very unique and peaceful and you will not attain that state of mind while reciting the Holy Quran in any other language. Learning of Quran in its elementary form is more satisfying than doing it any other language. Reciting Quran with expert tutors (Quran Hafiz) can be more understanding and knowledgeable.

There are many online websites and software's that are dedicated to the work of teaching people Quran in its primary form that is in Arabic. You can buy such websites membership or use the software's they provide. However these ways can only give you rudimentary knowledge about the Holy Quran. Arabic Qur'an is very deep if they attempt this area of research and scientists are still hidden meaning of the sentence used to understand the Koran taken.

Learning Arabic - advantages and challenges.

Learning Arabic is easier now than ever before but it is still a difficult language for English speakers to grasp as quickly as other European languages. There are numerous Internet resources available, and also many language programs online which help with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and indeed in some cases do quite a good job of simulating immersion and context, which is the best way to learn any language, including Arabic.

For English speakers especially, there are some challenges. There is a high incidence of guttural sounds, which is very different to the Romance and Germanic languages. Sounds in Arabic are totally different. That is balanced, and more than balanced, by the fact that Arabic only has two verb tenses, and very few grammar rules to master.

The word alcohol comes from Arabic, which certainly surprised me, and many other words, like elixir, algebra, and magazine, can also be traced to Arabic.

Like Hebrew, written Arabic moves from right to left on the page. The Modern Standard Arabic language is also the language of Islam, and it is spreading throughout the world as Islam spreads as a world religion, to most countries in Europe and elsewhere. As the language becomes more widespread, both geographically and in terms of the number of people who speak it, the benefits of learning it increase.

Deriving from the Semetic language group, Arabic is a language with an incredible history. Dating back to Mohammed and the 7th century, it is now spoken in over 20 countries with 195 million people speaking Arabic as their first language, and another 35 million plus speaking it as their second language.

Even though written Arabic is quite standardized, there are huge variations in local spoken dialects.

As Arabic in spoken form has wonderful rhythm and a harmonic flavor, it suits perfectly the wonderful poetry and literature that is part of a vast collection of works in the language. Written records began in the 7th century, with generation to generation verbal pass-down before that. Because of the rhythmic nature of the language, much of the prose is written in verse form.

There are 28 consonants in Modern Standard Arabic. Vowels come in both long and short form, but there are only three in total in Arabic.

Because the Koran was revealed to their prophet via Arabic, the language is viewed as sacred among the Muslim community. And that is the reason why Arabic has emerged as the biggest Semitic language.

There are many reasons why one would want to learn Arabic. Instead of being put off by pronunciations which seem challenging and do require significant effort be excited about the benefits of a great perspective and wonderful insights into an early civilization and its incredible history. This will make you want to put the effort into mastering Arabic, which is totally possible with some practice.

Astor Piazzolla adios Nonino.

Astor Piazzolla was the head of the Tango Nuevo movement during the time that he was writing Adios Nonino in 1959. Piazzolla was entirely of Italian decent, with two very Italian parents. His daughter gave them traditional Italian names for grandma and grandpa, Nonino and Nonina. One of the things that Piazzolla was involved in during the time was the music direction of a dance team called the Juan Carlos Copes, who travelled to Puerto Rico in 1959. On the last night of their trip to San Juan, Piazzolla received a telegram saying his father had fallen off of his motorcycle and was in critical condition. Piazzolla discovered the next day that his father had died the next day at noon. One he was back home, he asked everyone to be left alone for a while. No one ever heard him cry, but his wife heard him sigh while writing a bright and happy tune. It was then that Astor Piazzolla's Adios Nonino was born.

Adios Nonino became one of the most popular pieces that Piazzolla had ever written. He declared later that he was "Surrounded by angels", and that "He probably could do not it again, this being the finest tune he's ever written". Piazzolla tweaked and redid his Adios Nonino and rewrote at least twenty more arrangements of the same tango. The song had no words, and Piazzolla intended to keep it that way. After the death of his father, he was inspired to go back to Argentina and write more authentic music with his American experiences. No money for a trip, he sent his publisher adios Nonino excited and he published called the crown gem of Piazzolla Tango and then they Argentina

How to Save Money on Food - Three Tips Great.

If you are looking to save money on groceries, the simplest tip is to make it yourself. You can save you up to half the price of buying a name brand product. Many of the groceries you buy cost a lot more money because of the marketing and packaging costs. Here are three of my favourite ways to save money on groceries.

Save Money on Soft Drinks

The cost of groceries can be reduced by making your own soft drinks. The reason why commercial soft drinks cost more money is that you are paying for marketing. Save money and drink healthier drinks by simply mixing a can of plain club soda (carbonated soda water) with your favourite frozen fruit juice. Most frozen fruit juices don't contain chemicals or preservatives. How much concentrate you add is up to you, but I only add 1 tsp, to save on the amount of sugar in each drink. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon and a sprig of mint to make it extra delicious!

Save Money on Salad Dressing

Save your used salad dressing bottles (I like to use the Kraft bottles) and refill them with your own recipe to save money on your groceries. The money you save by making your own from essentially oil and vinegar and some spices, can be quite significant if your family eats a lot of salad. I make three bottles to save on time. Here's my recipe for a great tasting Italian dressing:

1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar (save money by diluting with white vinegar)

1 cup oil (any type will do)

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp dry mustard

1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (liquid)

1/2 tsp dry basil

1/2 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 clove crushed garlic

1 Tbsp dry parmesan cheese (save money by buying no name brand)

First clean out the used bottles and remove the cap and dispenser lid (the one with the hole in it). Pour all the ingredients into the bottle, replace the dispenser lid and screw on the cap and shake thoroughly. Store in the refrigerator.

Save Money on Chicken Wings

I save half of the money I spend on store bought prepared chicken wings by making my own. When I buy my groceries, I'm always sure to add raw chicken wings to my list because my daughter loves them! I make a large batch of 30 - 50 wings and then I freeze them to be reheated later. Here's my simple recipe:

In a large bowl mix the chicken wings with seasoning salt. I don't measure the salt but I just sprinkle it sparingly until most of the wings have some salt on all surfaces. The secret to the recipe is that I use parchment paper as lining for my oven pan, which gives an incredibly non-stick, crispy result that tin foil can't match. Place the chicken wings on the parchment paper lined pan and bake in the oven at 375 deg. for about 45 minutes. Turn once at 30 minutes. Serve with your favourite sauce. My daughter and I love using sweet chilli sauce garnished with fresh basil for Thai flavoured wings.

Use these Tips and you can save money on your purchases.

Learning Italian

As you probably know, the the official language of Italy is Italian. As you might expect given the country's history (Italy was not unified as a single country until 1861), there are many regional variations and dialects. Although these dialects are generally mutually understandable, they do in fact also have considerable differences. For official and purposes, "Standard Italian", this being based on the Tuscan dialect of the language, is used.

Although Italian is the official language throughout Italy, it should be noted that it is not the country's only language. Italy is also home to a number of other languages, spoken in particular regions, such as Sardinian, Sicilian, Neapolitan, and Venetian. Additionally, there are also a number of other language communities present in the country, including communities who speak dialects of Greek and Croat, plus native speakers of Albanian, Catalan, Franco-Provençal, Friulian, German, Ladin and Slovene.

No doubt you are already aware of the benefits of learning Italian. Whether you visit Italy on vacation, or you plan to do business in the country, knowing how to speak the language can certainly make your life a whole lot simpler! You'll probably also be amazed at how much easier it is to learn a new language than it used to be in the past. Nowadays, as well as books and audio courses, there are many wonderful web sites that can be really useful, and indeed There is also a good software for learning Italian (Including the very popular Italian Stone Software Rosetta).

Learn Spanish - Four Proven method of learning effectively.

The obvious answer to the question "What is the best way to learn Spanish?" would be to go find your local adult education centre and enroll in a course there. This can work out as a fantastic method for some, but it isn't perfect. You find yourself bound by a schedule where you have to get to class at a certain time and place every week. If you miss the previous class, you can't expect them to slow down or go over what you missed. They go at their own pace and expect you to keep up.

Books are also a popular method. Any book store or Amazon has countless text books to aid you in learning Spanish fluently. This has the learn from home in your own time advantage over the adult education option, but you get no support if you get stuck on something... and if you're doing something the wrong way, you have no idea of knowing that.

The best and most effective way to learn Spanish is to actually fly to a Spanish speaking country and take a course there. This way you're putting all your energy into learning the language and to test out your new knowledge, all you have to do is step outside and order a cheeseburger. You have no choice but to learn it because next to no-one speaks English. The question with this method is: Do you have the time to take a 6 month course in a foreign country and, more importantly, do you have the money?

If you answered no to any of the above questions, luckily there's a solution for you. In the modern age, there are many options online that offer you quick ways to learn Spanish in your own time. These methods are fun, effective and you can take them on in your own time. I have tried these courses and tested them in a Spanish speaking environment and am now offering the results to you.

Please make your way over to "Reviews... Honestly!" for my reviews.

LA Luna E I Falo (Italian Edition)

LA Luna E I Falo (Italian Edition) Review

The masterpiece of one of the greater Italian writers of the twentieth century. The search of the own roots and the sense of the own life returning to the origin countryside after emigration in America. Also one meaningful testimony on Italy during and after the second world war (and on the point of view of an Italian on the U.S. in that time). Still today a book a lot being involved.

LA Luna E I Falo (Italian Edition) Feature

LA Luna E I Falo (Italian Edition) Overview

Written in 1949 and published shortly before his suicide, Cesare Pavese's last novel provides a strongly evocative, but detailed and concrete picture of life in the Piedmontese hills, seen through the eyes of a returned American immigrant. However, its main interest does not lie in its realism, a mode of writing which Pavese himself rejected. Instead, the novel's focus is on deeper levels of experience, the mysterious underlying continuities beneath the changing surface of life. In seeking to go beyond the limits set by the conventions of realism, the book combines an account of everyday life with a sense of its hidden dimensions. This edition contains a revised and expanded introduction to the novel, focusing particularly on the combination of realism and symbolism or myth that characterizes Pavese's writing. The edition also contains a bibliography, notes and vocabulary which should serve to make the text more readily accessible to students at both the high school and university level.

Teach Children ESL - 6 ESL students how to learn through

Teaching a child ESL can be a HUGE task, whether teaching ESL one on one or in the classroom setting. Especially when taking the language barrier into consideration. Sometimes it is easy but other times it can become down right impossible. But there is always a way around it. How?

The novice ESL teacher will just have to FIND ways around it or they can ask a more experienced teacher. The latter is preferable. Whereas the experienced teacher has his own bag of tricks up his/her sleeve to get through to the student(s). There are 3 categories of students. They are as follows:

The student that doesn't want to learn.
The student that doesn't want anyone else to learn so they are disruptive.
The student who wants to learn but has a hard time understanding because of the language barrier.

Some methods of getting through to them will work for all three types of students. Others are more specialized and will work for only one or two types of student. Listed below are various tried and true methods that some experienced teachers have used.

In the classroom, making teams helps in the way of peer pressure. If the one team is trying and one student is not because of Student type 1 or 2 above, the rest of the team gets on their back to participate better. Works great in that you don't have to do any disciplinary actions. The students do it for you.
When a student is disruptive in class, make them the captain of their team! That gives them an important role to perform in the team so he/she is more likely to pay attention and keep the team focused.
Assign a disruptive student to be the teachers' helper or score keeper.
When someone is disruptive or doesn't want to co-operate, give points to the other team. Never take points away unless it is part of a game.
For the student who wants to learn but is having difficulty, try spending a few moments with him/her to slowly go over the material until they understand it all.
For a type 3 student, you could assign a student who is quick to learn the lessons as that student's helper. But the helper must agree to try to only speak English. Not just translating.
Try to dummy down your lesson a bit so he/she understands it.

Try to remember one thing from your own education through out the years. Chances are that if YOU don't understand something, that others may not understand as well. So the chances of more than one student not understanding the lesson you are trying to teach are pretty good. The rest of the students are probably just too proud or embarrassed to say anything.

One thing you should NEVER do in an ESL classroom is show anger or openly discipline a student in front of the others. Especially with Asian students. If a teacher embarrasses a student in front of others, they lose face and then that student will be all the harder to get back into the groove of things.

There are other methods available. The only limit is your Fantasy
